PSA: Avoid Kosovo During These Times

Published on 1 October 2023 by The Marshall's Office

We strongly recommend avoiding Prishtina and Kosovo, especially during these times. With update from the Marshall on 4th October.

๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Macedonian citizens of all ethnicities aren’t safe there on events, especially those ones organised by Servis and their Fantazia bar. Additionally, we recommend peoples from all ex-Yugoslav countries speaking Slavic languages to avoid Kosovo.

We will stop all collaboration with event organisers from Kosovo, with exception of artists which we continue to support no matter where they come from. We have felt fascism from many of their peoples that are active in the electronic music scene, and in clear consciousness we cannot support any event that’s located in Kosovo.

Their prime minister Albin Kurti was involved in promoting Big-Albanian nationalism in Macedonia, risking the integrity of our own country. Macedonia doesn’t have any issues from Albania, but receives trouble from Kosovo after everything we’ve done for them. That’s not how “allies” and friends behave.

Faleminderit shumรซ, but we in Macedonia (Macedonians, Albanians and all other ethnicities) DO NOT WANT, nor deserve this kind of behaviour and be proxy of their nationalist bullshit.

Note from Andrijan, the Marshall of frekvencii.org
I do not support any terrorism from any side, however the artificial politics of Kosovo are something that mustn’t be left unnoticed. I have followed the recent happening from the early days, and apparently Kurti has no issues blaming official Belgrade for that terrorist act, without having anyone even arrested.

Myself, who only tried to help their music and cultural scene, and have ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฑ DNA inside my blood from my father, will publish my personal experience with Kosovar fascism in the future when I move out of Skopje, for safety reasons. For now, just be cautious and don’t visit raves or any music events there, only go if you must go, otherwise I recommend avoiding crossing the border with Kosovo.
