Radio Moscow International Broadcast Service

Welcome to the Radio Moscow International Broadcast Service.

Here you can hear a diverse selection of music ranging from the the whole world, with a focus on bringing you an underground selection from the past socialist blocs.

Radio Moscow (Russian: Pадио Москва), also known as Radio Moscow World Service, was first introduced in 1929 and was the strongest international radio station in the world and played a crucial part in informing the resistance about the evils of the Axis during WW2. During its peak, Radio Moscow broadcast in over 70 languages using transmitters in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and Cuba.

ℹ️ Special Programming:
Due to the horrific deadly terror attack in Moscow, we are broadcasting a specialised programme consisting of Russian and Soviet composers performed by worldwide orchestras, contemporary artists from the region and like mentioned in the statement: instead of radio silence and falling pray to apathy, we choose to feel from what countless of talented musicians and artists from the region have fruited humanity and given us a colourful range of depths, so we don’t shatter when we’re hit and bleed.

We might be hit, we might bleed, but we will never bleed out.

Radio Moscow uses  HLS streaming to broadcast, and offers from 128 to 320kbps AAC and broadcasts worldwide.

You can view 📆 our weekly schedule here – will be published after 28th March.

Radio Moscow also relays broadcasts from Al Jazeera and other international news outlets regarding current situations, and selects quality documentaries across the spectrum of information so you have constantly a broadcast that will feed your mind with awareness. All of them are appropriately credited so you can follow the authors for more information sources.
