    I discovered Zomby through his releases on Hyperdub, and his catalogue of music threw me off: this guy was all over the place with ‘badboi’ riddims, dub and rave fused together so well, that he easily takes one of the top places of artists which influenced me and my music taste as I continued forward.

    A bit aside from the popular stuff of Acid Arab like tracks “Gul l’Abi” and “Stil”, I stumbled upon a mix they did for Ninja Tune where I discovered mahraganat, Egyptian electronic dance music which takes a big part from the folk elements, especially evident in the percussions and synths.

    Getting a sublime experience of traveling around in the almost impossible place to be reached by a human being just by sitting at home, is an extraordinary trip you can get from Biosphere’s latest Album “The Senja Recordings”. In Senja Recordings, Biosphere (Geir Jenssen) gives us outdoor recordings he recorded on the island of Senja – Arctic Norway between 2015 and 2018, combined with some studio improvisations which delivers sounds that gives you a vivid picture of the island.
